This article deals with websites not appearing correctly in Firefox.

Page styles disabled
You may have inadvertently set the page style to "No Style". To ensure Firefox is set to use the page's default style:
- Press the Alt key to temporarily bring up the traditional Firefox menus. At the top of the Firefox windowOn the menu bar, click on the menu, then select , then click .
Now that the page is using its default style, it may be displayed correctly.
Old version cached
Firefox caches websites, which means it saves some files on your machine so that it doesn't have to re-download everything when you visit sites. If a website has updated their code, Firefox may still be using some of the old code along with some of the new, which can make a web page display incorrectly. To fix this, you need to clear the cache:
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and then select or , depending on your macOS version.Click the menu button and select .
- Select the panel.
- Click on the tab
- Click
- Close the page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved. .
Now that your cache is cleared, visit the website again to see if the problem is solved.
Page is zoomed in or out
Some websites may not look right at different zoom levels. To reset the page zoom setting for the site, click on the
menu, select , and then select .
Minimum font size set
Some sites do not display properly with a minimum font size. To reset the minimum font size:
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and then select or , depending on your macOS version.Click the menu button and select .
- Click to select the panel.
- In the Fonts & Colors section, click .
- Change the Minimum font size to None.
Scripts blocked
Some sites require JavaScript settings and preferences for interactive web pages to display properly. JavaScript is enabled by default in Firefox, but to check its status:
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and then select or , depending on your macOS version.Click the menu button and select .
- Click to select the panel.
- Make sure that Enable JavaScript is checked.
- Close the page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
You should also check whether you have an extension (such as NoScript) or Internet security program (such as a firewall, antivirus, or anti-spyware program) that can block JavaScript.
Website doesn't support Firefox
Occasionally you may come across a page that simply doesn't work in Firefox. If that happens, please report the problem to Mozilla as follows:
- At the top of the Firefox window, click the button, go over to the menu (On Windows XP, click the menu) and select .At the top of the Firefox window, click the menu and select .On the menu bar, click the menu and select .Go to the Mozilla Feedback page.
- Click on the "Firefox Made Me Sad" link.
- On the page that comes up, there is a space to describe your problem and a box you can check to enter the URL of the problem website.
