Table of Contents
Access your favorite apps
- Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are all available in the Marketplace. So the quickest way to install them is to open the Marketplace app, search for the ones you want and tab the blue Installing apps.
- For things not listed in the Marketplace, try the Apdaptive Search. Here, for example, you'll find many Google products (Google+, Google Maps, Google Translate and more). For details, see Search and discover content.
- Google Search is built-in to Firefox. Just type a search term in the address bar and hit Enter. For more, see Visit websites on Firefox OS.
- Gmail is supported in the Firefox OS Email app. To set it up, see Add email accounts.
Importing contacts
When creating your contact list, you can either choose to import your contacts from Facebook or import them from your SIM card and synchronize them later with your Facebook contacts.
Either way you go, you'll then be able to access their profile, post on your friends wall or send a private message directly from your Contacts app.
Note: This feature is available in Firefox OS version 1.1 and higher. Not sure what version of Firefox OS you have? Here's how to find out.
