Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) is an official version of Firefox developed for large organizations like universities and businesses that need to set up and maintain Firefox on a large scale. Firefox ESR does not come with the latest features but it has the latest security and stability fixes.
If you are having issues using your screen reader with the new Firefox 57, you can download and install Firefox ESR as a workaround. You can download Firefox ESR for your operating system and language from the Firefox ESR download page.
Warning: By default, different versions of Firefox will use the same user profile data. Installing Firefox ESR after using Firefox version 55 or above can cause problems such as error messages, breakage in portions of Firefox and issues with some websites. You can create a new profile to use with Firefox ESR or else refresh Firefox if problems arise.
