To use this new feature, please update Firefox if you don't have the latest version.

Firefox's Send Tab feature lets you send pages to and from your computer, iPhone, iPad or Android, so you can continue browsing wherever you are.

Send tabs from your computer

  1. Get started by signing into your Firefox Account on your computer. If you don’t have one yet, you can create a Firefox Account. It gives you quick access to synced tabs, saved passwords, and more!
  2. Sign into your Firefox account on your mobile device.
  3. Right-clickHold down the Control key while you click on a tab on your computer, select Send Tab to Device, and choose the device to send the tab to.

Alternatively, click the Page actions menu (three dots) on the address bar and select Send Tab to Device to choose a device to send the tab to.

The page will open in a new tab when you open Firefox on the receiving device.

  1. Make sure you're signed in to your Firefox Account. The Firefox Accounts icon on your toolbar will indicate your status.

  2. From the page you want to send, click the Page actions menu (three dots) on the address bar.

  3. Click Send Tab to Device.
  4. Choose the device you want to send the tab to.

The page will open in a new tab when you open Firefox on the receiving device.

I don’t see my device listed

You’ll be able to send tabs to devices that you’ve added to Firefox Accounts. If you don’t see a device listed, follow these steps to add that device:

  1. Open Firefox on the device you want to connect.
  2. Click the menu button Fx89menuButton to open the menu panel.
  3. Select Sign in to Sync.
  4. Follow the prompts to log in or create your account.

Firefox Accounts will sync and add your devices to the list.
