Firefox for Android lets you open multiple links without switching app i.e tab queueing feature. This will give you to open external links in behind of Firefox for Android at the time of surfing.

This feature will be available to all Firefox for Android users soon. In the meantime, try it on Firefox Beta.

How to enable

By deafault it is not active, but you can set it.

Tap the menu button (either at the bottom right on some devices or in the upper right of the browser) and then select Settings (you may need to tap More first) , then select Customize, check the box next to Open multiple links .

Before going to use this feature, you may choose Firefox for Android as default browser on Android.

How it works

  • Suppose you are checking your Hangout feeds. You tap the one link. If you have not made Firefox for Android default browser on Android, then choose Firefox for Android from the popup. Link would not be opened in Firefox for Android immediately.You will get one notification which notifies you that link would be added at Firefox for Android tab queue without loading the link.

  • Tap here to open Firefox for Android from that feed directly.
    The image "tab-2" does not exist.
  • Or tap notification to open Firefox for Android from notification panel.

  • Finally Firefox for Android is opened with tab queue loading all those links.
