Extensions, themes, and plugins are all types of add-ons for Firefox. This article describes how to disable and remove add-ons in Firefox.

Disabling extensions
Disabling an extension will turn it off without removing it.
- Click the menu button , click and select .
- Scroll through the list of extensions.
- Click the ellipsis (3-dot) icon for the extension you wish to disable and select Disable.the blue toggle for the extension you wish to disable.
To re-enable the extension, find it in the list of extensions and click the toggle for the corresponding extension. The toggle turns blue when enabled. , click the ellipsis (3-dot) icon and select Enable (restart Firefox if required).

Removing extensions
- Click the menu button , click and select .
- Scroll through the list of extensions.
- Click the ellipsis (3-dot) icon for the extension you wish to remove and select Remove.

Click the menu button , click
and select . You will see one Enabled theme and a list of Disabled themes.When the Enabled theme is not the Default theme, you can disable it by clicking the ellipsis (3-dot) icon and selecting Disable.
This will enable the Default theme.
Removing themes
Firefox comes with the Default theme, a Light theme and a Dark theme, which can be disabled but not removed. You can also add new themes to Firefox. To remove an added theme:
- Click the ellipsis (3-dot) icon that displays for the theme that you want to remove and then select Remove.
This will enable the Default theme.

Disabling a plugin will turn it off without removing it:
- Click the menu button , click and select .
- Scroll through the list of plugins.
- Click the ellipsis (3-dot) icon and select from the drop-down menu for the corresponding extension.
To re-enable the plugin, find it in the list of Plugins, click the ellipsis (3-dot) icon and select
