Hello,

FireFox was working. I haven't used my laptop for 2 weeks. FireFox now crashes every time it tries to start. I can't open in Safe Mode. I tried upgrading to 7.0.1 and I still get the same problem.

This is likely to be a known issue due to use of certain Oracle software

  • bug 680927 Startup crash in mozcomp.dll with Oracle Enterprise, F5 Networks, Passlogix V-GO, IBM Tivoli Access Manager SSO

Oracle is aware of the issue and working on a fix, ensure you keep the software up-to-date. Consider do you need to use that software at present ?

There is a workaround but it involves registry modification. If you are in a corporate environment perhaps you should consult the IT department, and refer them to: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=563484
