However, this padding issue is not happening on my firefox 4 or anybody else's, just this one coworker's firefox 4 browser. Looks like this person here has a similar issue: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/ask

Anybody know if this is a bug? She tried uninstalling and downloading but it just won't go away.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

Already did that before I even posted this question. It's not settings, plugins, zoom...and she uninstalled her FF4 and then re-installed and problem still exists.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting 'none' as a high value can cause issues like you described.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
