Retrieve old emails after changing email address

Seeker

I changed my email address and I can no longer use it to read or send emails. When I open Thunderbird, it asks me for a password which doesn't work. I would like to see the emails that have been downloaded. I was using IMAP. How do I do this?

My inference is that you replaced one IMAP account with another one. That usually means a new account and new password, so more information will help, since you're concerned about the password. Are you wanting to see messages from old account? Tell me more. Thanks
