How can I delete the last update? The emails are too small to read and the tool to delete all junk mail at once is missing.

Try: 

   Exit Thunderbird if running.
   click windows key and 'r' key
   Enter: thunderbird.exe -P --allow-downgrade
   click on 'OK'
