EditEmailSubject MX Add on

When an email has been forwarded or replied to several times the original subject line often bears no resemblance to the body of the email so it's really useful to be able to edit the subject.

I've been using the EditEmailSubject MX add on for years but it's stopped working, it gets stuck on a spinning black circle. Can anybody help to get it working again?
