Is there a way to permanently prohibit message synchronization for all users via GPO or about:config in the settings, synchronization & storage space? I would like to prevent users from being able to synchronize messages offline.

i have activated this configuration and it is still possible for the user to download the mails offline. In which area am I making the error?

Which setting and value specifically?

The first thing I did was set mail.server.default.offline_download

to “false”. Nevertheless, I was able to check the box “Keep messages in all folders for this account on this computer” and synchronize mails offline. Both in general and for individual folders. Then I tried it with the string mail.server.server2.offline_download “false”. Here, too, I was still able to synchronize all mails.
