RE: Thunderbird mouse gestures

Rick replied

Hello there. On my previous email desktop app I was able to use my 'magic mouse' swipe features to quickly delete emails irrespective of even reading them first.

I have looked for this in the Thunderbird settings but I can't seem to find this option. Is it me? Or do you not have this?

Kind Regards,

James

There are no what did you call them "'magic mouse' swipe features". I googled the term and it appears to be some functionality of Apple products and trackpads. Not something mainstream users would even have access to. Apple is well less than 5% of Thunderbird users.

None of which appear to emulate a press of the delete key. https://support.apple.com/en-au/102482

Matt, within an e-mail app on the Mac, a user can swipe left and right for quick access to functions such as delete, flag, and file.

These gestures are common because the top of an Apple mouse is a track pad. So one does not need a dedicated track pad.

Not on Windows?
