Installation default settings
I have been using Thunderbird for many years and it works beautifully for me but I have one complaint regarding installation. The default server setting for IMAP accounts is to delete all emails from server if more than 14 days old. THIS IS BAD! I have learned to disconnect my computer from the network during installation but forgot to when I got a new laptop. Dozens of very important email vanished and I have been trying to retrieve them from other computers that may still have them. Please change the default to never delete from server.
Thank you. Sam Virgillo
