The only 'factory specs' would be the contents of the config editor. If you have not changed any config settings, the only other place where you would have customizations would be if you used CSS settings in the userControl.css file. Was there a specific setting you were considering?

If I understand that you wish to start with a new setup, try creating a new profile from Help/Troubleshooting Info, about:profiles. The existing profile will be preserved in case it has useful data to transfer to the new profile.
