I have multiple NSTMP folders. Can I delete them? All but one??

I compact my folders aperiodically. I assume that I either terminated FireFox before compaction terminated or something else "bit" me. At any rate, my current FireFox collection of folders seems to be 100% intact and working fine. So I want to delete all (I have 3) NSTMP folders. Dangerous? Ill-advised??

Chosen solution

if everything looks good delete them. You are correct, they are created when the compact is interrupted. They are actually the replacement folders that would have been substituted for your old one, but deleting them is the best outcome at this point.
