Set Automatic Delivery Status Notification

Zenos replied
pmesolution

I would like to receive a Delivery Status Notification from mail servers by default without having to set it manually each time.

There is an option to ask for a return receipt but that's not what I want, I want the DSN.

Thread on the Net about this are pretty old and do not apply anymore, I have found nothing in the advance config editor to set this.

Anyone would have a solution for me ????

Thanks for your help

It's under Options|Delivery Status Notification here, in the Write window's menu. Right next to Read Receipt.

Do you actually have use of servers that support this? They are few and far between.

Thanks for trying to help,

I know how to do it on the Write Window, what I want it's to have it by default and not having to check this option on each message I write.

I have a customer complaining that he has a lot of trouble sending his mail from my server and I want him to see this receipt each time he send an email so he can knows that his email was sent properly.

Regards

It's a checkbox, and here it seems to stay checked between uses.

Is the user using CCleaner or anything similar that might be deleting Thunderbird's settings files?
