Since I downloaded Windows 10, I cannot open certain sites, like Yahoo, without turning off my firewalls. I know what the problem is, but I don't know how to solve it. Please advise.

hi, please disable https scaning within avast:

  1. Open the Avast dashboard on the affected system.
  2. Select Settings from the left sidebar menu.
  3. Switch to Active Protection.
  4. Click on Customize next to Web Shield.
  5. Uncheck the "Enable HTTPS Scanning" option and click ok.

What firewalls do you use?

When you the firewalls are running, do you get errors like "servers not found" or pages timing out, or do you get problems with secure site certificates?

If you get certificate errors, could you copy/paste the error text into a reply. On some pages, you may need to expand a Technical Details section. I'm particularly interested in an error code in parentheses (separated_by_underscore_characters).

Yahoo, nor Netzero, as well as several sites will not load while connected to Mozilla, since I upgraded to Windows 10.

I'm using Windows Firewall and Avast firewall. I've tried connecting with either one or the other, however, the sites will not load as long as I have firewall protection from either source.

This is the error code that I'm receiving: (Error code: sec_error_bad_signature)
