Firefox Settings let you customize how Firefox works, whether you want to change your homepage, adjust privacy protections, manage downloads, control passwords or sign in to sync your data. This article gives an overview of each Settings section and links to step-by-step instructions for common tasks.

To open Firefox Settings: In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Settings (or Preferences, in some cases).Click the menu button Fx89menuButton and select Settings.
