  5. Therefore John if you are not the lucky 10% (I haven't been able to upgrade either so i'm unlucky too :-) !) you won't be upgraded by Google Play's staged rollout feature [2]. I learned this from the release drivers email list [1] which I believe you can join (Philipp another ace SUMO volunteer is on release drivers AFAIK)

    Cheers! ..Roland

  6. Thanks Roland I will look at the linked info. I do already have Android Fx 50.0b 12 & 51.0a2 installed. They both give check for updates options.

    With Desktop & I had assumed Android I had expected using about: would obtain the latest available update, but apparently not.

    Cheers, John

  7. That is correct John!

    If you installed Firefox for Android from the Google Play Store , you cannot update FF from:

    Firefox Settings->Mozilla Firefox ->About Firefox -> Check for Updates;

    you can only upgrade from the Google Play Store.

    I believe there is a bug about this already but as always feel

    free to file a new bug.

  10. ISSUE:-

    Sir , there's no download manager in firefox's latest release , i did reported this and it got 14 people having same problem. This is a very important feature , we should have the ability to pause and resume our downloads because as like me we have high data rates and because of that when our downloads at 99% completion we get this download removed even by a one second delay in connection and because of this our data is lost. And this is the reason i personally moved to chrome because they just added this feature and i think that this bad for me. Although i still use the firefox for many things like testing , add ons etc. But i just wish that this should be also in us so that people should stop migrating from our great browser.
