mozilla is aware of the issue and there should be a 50.0.2 chemspill release (and updates for all other channels esr - nightly) soon containing a fix for the vulnerability.
concerned users might switch off javascript in the meantime or make use of an addon like noscript.
there are media reports about a 0-day vulnerability in firefox that is exploited and apparently allows remote code execution on windows: http://arstechnica.com/security/2016/11/firefox-0day-used-against-tor-users-almost-identical-to-one-fbi-used-in-2013/

Good for you to mention NoScript, Philipp, for NoScript blocks JavaScript by default.
Dan Goodin (Ars Technica) says Firefox users should disable JavaScript on as many sites as possible; at least with NoScript one gets to enable JavaScript whenever and wherever needed.

Is it possible to run both Firefox Beta and stable at the same time? I get massive lag when zooming in and out on www.flightradar24.com with Beta 6. And want to test if it's different in stable. When I installed Firefox Beta, was the stable version replaced or is it still installed?

Yes, as long as your device has sufficient resources you may run as many versions as you wish. It is however prudent to make sure each has its own Firefox profile. It is even possible to run them simultaneously side by side for comparison - that may be instructive if there is a Firefox problem, but will just make matters worse if there is a resource issue.
Presuming you are asking about Firefox Desktop. If you just did a standard install of Beta you will remain on that channel. It will not upgrade to the Stable Release channel. Beta is fairly stable but is a beta, towards the end of each cycle it is actually the Release Candidate. The Beta version will by default update on a regular basis, it is a Beta channel. At the end of each roughly 6 week cycle it will upgrade to the next Version being Beta tested.
It is possible to install multiple versions of Firefox. In fact the Developer Edition by default installs as a separate version, with its own Firefox profile.

Ah ok it replaced the beta xD I guess to get the beta back I have to install Firefox Beta in a different directory... :P Would be nice if FF Beta installer sets default path to "Mozilla Firefox Beta" folder, to not overwrite the stable! :)

Is there any way to confirm the fix for this bug will be in there? https://www.fxsitecompat.com/en-CA/docs/2016/img-in-template-or-button-is-not-loaded-properly/

Negative, it will be in 51.
Hmm I am getting Firefox '''45.6.0''' on both https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/all/
The https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ had Firefox 50.0.2 a few hours earlier.
And of course the https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ page is now loading Firefox 50.1.0
Are the developers working on the issue that many times there occurs then loading circle icon, since multiprocess is enabled? (When switching between 2 tabs for example)

Hey, for some reason I have FF 50.1.0 in my Firefox Beta, checked the "channel-prefs.js" and it even says beta... still says "latest version" when I click on "help"->"about FF"... o_O Any ideas?
