    Hi, I'd just like to delete my Mozilla Support account (the one that I am posting from - "smartytarty") as I am no longer using it and would like it deactivated. Thank you!

    I (Or any other passing Mod.) can deactivate your account for you Today. But before we do so I would just mention that in the account settings you may yourself

    • Turn off any or all email notifications.
    • Remove your email address from public display
      ( If it you had chosen to display it. )
    • Change your user Display name

    edit Account settings: Whilst signed in use link /users/settings

    I just thought I better ask before de-activating the account, in-case the change is something you could do yourself, as that would save you the trouble of re-registering the account at a later date.

    I think you may then have to re-register with another email account. I am not sure of that last point. I am only a Moderator not an Admin. Threads can wait for weeks to get admin attention. (Just about to bump last years question /forums/contributors/709856 )

    Please post back with confirmation or otherwise of your instruction to de-activate the account.
