i haven't used Firefox for a while but when i tried to import my bookmarks from Brave, they were imported but i cannot access them. i would have believed that Firefox would have either given me a 2nd listing or merged them into the ones i already have. am i to believe that this cannot be done? or am i overthinking this import thing?

I am moving away from Windows -- at least temporarily. I have purchased a Linux desktop CPU and would like to bring my Firefox bookmarks and settings. Is that possible? And secondly, I did have FIREFOX set up on this Linux, but something changed today -- it turned to all black and white, no color whatsoever. How can I get back to the page I set up?

Bought a new Windows 11 computer. What sort of problems may I have transferring my data from Windows 7 Vista to windows 11. Any suggestions or instruction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your help..

I have exported my bookmarks from Brave, which are in HTML format. I cannot find where you can import them into Firefox, I am using the Android version.

I would also like to know where the private window is so I can use YouTube.

Can't scan QR code from desktop to import settings(mobile). Upon opening Thunderbird for Android I'm shown a window that asks 'Already using Thunderbird on Desktop?' My answer: Yes! There is also a blue button that states 'Import Settings' in the afore mentioned window. I click on the Import Settings button as I have the QR code displayed on my desktop monitor. The next thing I see on my Android (Pixel Pro 10XL) is basically just a picture taking screen where it states: 'Align the QR code provided from Thunderbird Desktop' My problem: there is nothing to line it up with. No little 90' ticks used to outline the corners of a square, nothing. It just looks the same as if I were using the camera app (no little ticks outlining corners of square). So in this case there is nothing in which to line up.! I'm using Thunderbird 151.0 on my desktop and have successfully used the QR scanning on my phone in the past. I can't bypass this window as this is my first time using the app on my phone. Am I doing something stupidly wrong? Any help to resolve this problem would be awesome! Thanks *** as I eluded to earlier, I can't get into Thunderbird on my phone so I don't have the version. So I'll just reiterate my desktop version to fill out this form.

i just want to copy firefox setting into flash memory or PC desktop instead of sync to cloud. i usually uninstall and reinstall firefox then i need to select setting manually which takes time.

setting i select after reinstall are: General setting , privacy and security setting, advance setting.

I'm trying to import my bookmarks from an HTML file. They say to click the menu button but there is NO menu button with 3 horizontal stripes. I'm using a Chromebook laptop.

I have followed the instructions for transferring the Thunderbird profile from my old computer to my new computer. However, the updates do not come across. I don’t get all of the folders that I created on the old computer. The email works fine.

I've tried to import all the passwords I had saved on Brave, which I am leaving. There's one way which is in Firefox itself, where the little icons spin and it says passwords and other things have been saved. But the passwords have not come over. I've gone to several AI engines, and they have me create HTML or .csv files, but these aren't working either. When I tell AI this, I get suggestions so complicated I'd have to be an expert to use.
