A weird thing has started happening to my Thunderbird inbox in the last couple of days. Emails are showing as from a totally different sender. For example, a Google search on Sondheim has been "sent" by EDF (my electricity supplier) and some Groupon emails are showing as coming from people I correspond with. Also a Keto bread recipe from a low carb group I belong to has been "sent" by one of my work clients! More weirdly, I copied them into a subfolder on my inbox and they then appeared correctly. I have tried repairing the folder but it made no difference.

I have a Yahoo.ca email address and have been using Thunderbird to retrieve my email for years. For some reason, a window now pops up to Rogers.com and they want me to log in there. This is not a Rogers email address and it is separate from Rogers. I had this issue before and this forum managed to get me back. My settings are correct. I have deleted the profile 5 times and added it back after a computer restart and still nothing.

Hello, I can't receive any of my e-mails. I can send e-mails out now. Plus I can put in my password to log into my e-mail. This has been a headache for me, I have been with Thunder Bird for years.

I also get a boxes that says : Unable to write the email to the mailbox. It says to make sure the file system allows me to write privileges, and I have enough disk space to copy the mailbox. I have enough space on my computer system and all. Another box that says my e-mail is being processed. Please wait until processing is complete to get messages. I did e-mail you yesterday on these issues. As I said I can e-mail messages out now also log into my e-mail with my password. Thanks, Chris

To Whom it concerns, It has been about 4-5 days since I can't receive my e-mail. I have e-mail you different times with errors coming up. When I open my mail since yesterday an error now says error with acct. cray9@oh.rr.com. Another error occurred with the POP3mail server. The mailbox closes. Then a box comes up Thunder Bird crash reporter then I can put why and then restart my e-mail. It does try to load my e-mail then stops. And now my password box doesn't come up to put my password in. Last it says connection to mail.twc.com was reset then once again the mailbox closes. Please help, I have been a customer with Thunder Bird for years. Thank you!!

To whom it concerns, It just happened yesterday June 11,2026. I put in my password to my e-mail to open it and it stated that my e-mail account is being processed. Said to wait until processing is complete to get messages. I have never had this issue, I been with Thunder Bird e-mail for years. It isn't even showing my e-mails that I had in my inbox on my e-mail. If you can please help, I need my e-mail up and going. Thank you, Chris Note, it also said that Thunder Bird had crashed in a box, they wanted to know what page I was on. I am not understanding this.

Thanks in advance. I'm trying to get Thunderbird setup with an outlook.com email address. All the default server settings look fine. I know the email address is good since I can login via a web browser. Cookies enabled and all the other recommended settings including app password. Yet it keeps saying Unable to log into the server. Has anyone successfully done this with the latest version of Thunderbird. I'm on Zorin 18 Pro.

For the last two weeks I have noticed a marked decrease in the number of emails I am receiving. This is on my X@scratchmitt.com account email provider Gandi. I have attempted to contact Gandi but no response as yet. Is it possible the fault lies within my Thunderbird settings or installation?

I did a fresh install of win 11 25H2 a week ago and with it the latest TBIRD which I think was ~ver 151.

It wouldn't send/receive messages when click "get messages". Went back to 150.0.2 and told it not to update.

get messages worked fine.

BUT Just discovered that things I send aren't being put into SENT folder. Are they being put anywhere? Upgraded to latest 152.0 get messages still works fine but no sent messages.

Guess I'll go back further till you get this fixed. THANKS!!!!! :)

This is a weird one, but as of a few days ago my email account has glitched and is sending an old auto-reply to every incoming email. I've ensured there's no auto-reply filter on my inbox at all, and have deleted all the templates, but for some reason it's still sending it to everyone.

Worse still it's now stuck in an auto-reply loop with the mailer daemon due to receiving a no-reply message, so my inbox is just filling up with endless 'Message Delivery Failure's!

I've also logged into the account via our hosting agent (123reg) and there are no auto-replies enabled there either.

Any help or advice very much appreciated!

People are not receiving my emails. I am receiving other peoples emails. I am using Linux Mint 22 and Thunderbird 140.11.1esr. If I send an email and look in the sent folder, it shows that it has been sent. If I log into my Bell Webmail portal and check the sent folder there, it shows that the email has been sent. But no one gets my emails. If I send an email from my Bell Webmail portal, people receive that email. I have re-installed Thunderbird and allowed Thunderbird to autofil the incoming and outgoing server information after entering my user name and password. No change. I have contacted Bell my internet provider and they have told me that because I can send from the Webmail portal and not from my Desktop, it is a Thunderbird problem. It seems that this problem may have start just after Thunderbird received an update about 2-4 weeks ago. It has been around a month since the last time I had a back and forth email exchange. Searching the forum has been difficult to find an issue similar to mine. Any help would be appreciated. Robert
