Firefox says: "Pop-up ads, you’re going down.

"Firefox for iOS now has a built-in ad blocker that helps cut down on annoying ad junk, so there’s more room for what you actually came to see. Turn it on under Settings > Browsing."

However there seems to be no "Settings > Browsing". The only reference to browsing that I find under Settings is the following: (see uploaded image). No mention of blocking ads.

I want University Of The People student app restored on my new Mozila Firefox with Yahoo mail.com. I am a student and may drop out if I loose the contents I am asking for.

I installed a Mozilla/FF GMail Notifier App. I tho't that I removed it as I no longer needed it. It still Notifies me; annoying. But it's not in my Extension List to Remove again if need be??? How can a hidden/invisible App be still operating, that is supposed to be Removed?

Since Mozilla/FF has no option to Delete a Question, I found the answer to the above posted. MY error: It was a Google Linked App, not the one I Removed which did indeed become Removed. Sigh!

Hello, I find many quality of life things missing from the addon page !

First as search-as-you-type filter, where only addon with matching words remain visible.

Then a way to change the sort order Currently the sort order isn't clear On the first order it is enabled addons then disabled addons and 2nd order .. well it's not last added, maybe it's last updated ?

Anyway, the 1st order and 2nd order ordering should be modifiable

last enabled last updated last installed last active most cpu/memory/gpu usage by name of author by date of creation by last currently installed update by last available installed update by version number by homepage url by run in private tab state by run on restricted side state by count of access url by permission X state by number of permission by stored data amount by rating by rating count

And search 1st,2nd,3rd,4th order should be configurable and search should be able to specify the above terms like rating:>3 and so on

Also I would like a way to be able to install my non AMO plugin permannently easily or easier

I have installed various extensions, and pinned same to toolbar. To activate these, I simply click the icon.

However, there are several addons I've installed which are not pinned to the toolbar. These I cannot seem to start.

How to proceed ?

Cannot reach extensions search from Firefox about:addons page. I keep getting the following when I search for any extension.

Firefox lately seems to create problems every time it is updated. I am really leaning towards making MSEdge my default browser because I am tired of these problems cropping up at each major update. I spent several hours this morning making sure my bookmarks and my saved logins and passwords were up to date with what I have in Firefox plus making sure my privacy and security were at it's tightest and strongest there. Major updates for Firefox use to go smoothly and seamlessly but that is now questionable.

Right clicking a pic on the web has a CONTEXT MENU entry of "Search Image on Tineye"

How do I remove this entry?

There are actually many context entries in Firefox I would like to remove. Is there a general way to do so?

I receive email messages from members in this forum in Chrome. It is very difficult to find the messages here when I logged in. If possible, can a reference number be provided with the message.

I never log out and if possible I prefer to stay logged in. The main topic seems to be about "Inbuilt adblockers" Some of the messages are a bit rude about the above. I don't appreciate those type of messages.

But I do agree if there could be an adblocker in Firefox in my Android phone, Browser extensions are uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger and CanvasBlocker. They don't block ads. uBlock Origin "Element Picker Mode" works perfectly on my PC but not all on my Android Phone. I appreciate very much how Firefox can be configured more than all the browsers combined, to provide extreme protection and privacy. In addition with MullvadVPN.

I received a message from Microsoft a few days ago and they have extended Windows 10 Security updates to 12 October 2027.

My problem started approximately (2) updates prior to my current Firefox update after 7-13-26... abouit a month of it now. I have great Malware and Security programs and never have been hacked. However now I have popups, redirects to new tabs advertising something, and Bing search engine came up replacing my StartPage search preference. I have since fixed my default search engine, but as noted below I am having no luck with ad popups and search redirects.

I have gone through Mozilla troubleshooting in Settings>Peremissions and Date>Notifications... and checked off all ad and popup blocking. I have checked entire PC with (2) separate Malware programs and found nothing. I use iObit Advanced System Care and it has caught many things, but it hasn't helped me here either.

I am still on Windows 10 operating system and have never had any problems at all Is there someting in a line item entry stored on my PC that I can look for that is taking over my browser settings? What else can be done to stop these insane ad and popup overlays?
