When I try to bookmark a page, I expect to see "Bookmark current tab" and when I click that, to be offered 1) to put it in the same place that the last bookmarked page was put 2) or, alternatively, to be given a choice of locations.

This is what happens on one of my two laptops.

On the other laptop, I am not offered a choice of locations. I am simply forced to bookmark the new page in the location where the previous bookmark that I made is, and I then have to go to "Edit This Bookmark" and move the new bookmark from the location where it currently sits, to the location that I want. This is clunky and inconvenient.

How can I configure this second laptop to behave like the other laptop?

My computer crashed 10 days ago- & my Firefox browser disappeared along with several on screen folders

When I started checking for a reason, the only thing I found, was that my C Drive was almost out of memory

When I re-loaded Firfow, 8 years of Research tabs/ bookmarks were gone... Can you help

Can you please let me know, if any alternative way copy all bookmarks from Avast Browser To Firefox browser.

I have tried Import Wizard from Firefox but unable to see Avast Browser in the list, restart the pc and re-launched firefox import wizard , still unable to see Avast brower in the list

Run the firefox installer again - no go

when i bookmark a location the 'New Bookmarks Editor Dialog Box' disappears before i can bookmark page. how can i change or disable the timer interval. this is VERY annoying behavior. is there a preference value in about:config that can address this issue? i think this behavior has been an issue for many, many years. thanks

When trying to save a bookmark, the menu used to select the folder no longer opens. The bookmark will just be saved in a folder that was selected before the update with this bug. But Firefox does not indicate which folder it was.

Help: The menue to choose a corresponding folder for a bookmark should be reactivated.

My Bookmark list disappears regularly and I have to seek ways ro re-install in the left hand margin. Also finding various web sites (Banks etc) no longer work well with Firefox. So with much regret it is goodbye Firefox as soon as I can reocnfigure

Unfortunately, I'm not an expert, so, when I found something relevant, online, it was way out of my league.

I've just realised there's something wrong with the bookmarks.

Sometimes I cannot save bookmarks. Sometimes I can.

When I move bookmarks, they seem to disappear.

I delete a few bookmarks, but those bookmarks remain there as if nothing has happened.

I tried to rename a couple of bookmarks, but nothing happens, and I cannot remove such bookmarks.

I've scanned my computer for malware, viruses, etc, but everything seems ok.

I'm not sure what is happening

I no longer have the bookmark icon available on the tool bar. ALL bookmarks have vanished. Tried using tips to restore with no success. Also have lost all saved passwords. Not getting anywhere to solving this

Most of my bookmarks gone, in the sense, that they DON'T lead to the place listed, but to another place. For example, the link says "Health Hub", but logo is for Wells Fargo and the link is for that. Another one states, Austin Telco Federal Credit Union, and the link is to my home webmail.

How do I restore my bookmarks back? I've been adding the correct ones. But I don't see why I need to add them back. How can I get my bookmarks that I've had for years BACK?

Sir, I'm not sure, but I think my bookmarks vanished in combinaton with an upgrade. All of them are gone, and I very much would like to have them back! Sincerely Yours, Dan

My bookmarks keep multiplying and duplicating and I can't delete them. I've signed out on all other devices, refreshed FF, stopped sync, Other than a new user account, I'm not sure what else to do

Whenever I make a bookmark, it automatically puts it in the Bookmark Toolbar, but I want it to default to the Bookmark Menu. I can't find any way to do that and can't find any good information about it. One site said I needed an ad-on, but I shouldn't need that for something so simple that used to work fine on my old computer with Firefox. I can't find any settings for this at all.

Please help me fix this.

I can't figure out how do I sync my Google Bookmarks to my Firefox Browser account. I have been trying since installation of Firefox. What am I doing wrong. Firefox doesn't synch I guess. l need your help.

I have lost all bookmarks. Manage Bookmarks does not help, selecting a restore from last 3 or 4 saved does not change anything. I am running Mac. I am frustrated. Please help.
