I just paid $59.88 plus taxes for a full year Mozilla VPN. I received the invoice in my email account. How on earth do I sign into this account to set up on my other computers? Charles

I'm wondering if there's any way to have a button toggle for a setting exposed via about:config?

The reason for my ask is that I currently use a second Firefox profile, where full-screen-api.ignore-widgets is set to True, in order to have full-screen videos inside a firefox window, meaning I can fully expand a video into the window that its open in, without taking up the entire screen. Extremely good for productivity reasons.

Now, the only slight issue that I have is that sometimes I wanna easily swap back without needing to move the video tab to my main profile - and hoping that it's possible somehow without exposing myself to lax security practices - I found it might be possible when using fx-autoconfig - but it does concern me when it states "Please note that malicious external programs can now inject custom logic to Firefox even without elevated privileges just by modifying boot.sys.mjs or adding their own script files.".

I essentially just want an true/false button for the full-screen-api.ignore-widgets setting instead of needing to swap profiles/manually enter about:config to swap the boolean value back and forth.

I purchased Dell desktop computer, Windows 11, I installed Firefox, and I made Firefox the default browser via Firefox and the computer's settings.

I selected default dozens of times. Each time it stays the default for a while and then another web browser becomes default.

I then again select Firefox as the default web browser, both ways, and it stays that way for a long time or a short time. A few minutes ago, after the selection, the settings window for the app page flashed and Firefox was no longer the default browser.

I have Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge installed for the few times that Firefox does not work on a particular website.

I can't Import bookmarks from chrome, the option is missing. Everything else worked, and the option is not "hidden", when I clicked to import bookmarks were not imported.

macOS Tahoe, Firefox 152.0.3 macOS settings include "Appearance - Auto"; i.e. system switches from light to dark at sunset. While the "top area" (tabs, address bar, bookmarks bar) of Firefox follows this - some of the pages themselves do NOT???

I found this website which was at top of the search results. I tried to follow it, but it seems to be badly outdated in certain key respects: esp wrt a setting called "ui.systemUsesDarkTheme" in about:config. I set this to "True", but may have screwed this up!! First question: Should I "reset" this somehow?

Finally: To get at the primary question, there are two "sub-questions" that may explain my confusion more clearly:

1. Is there no ***simple way*** to get Firefox & webpages I view to follow macOS Light/Dark appearance?? What are the CORRECT steps?

2. Do individual webpages have the ability to "decide for themselves" whether or not they will adhere to the system light/dark settings. This may well be an officially "stupid question", but while "most" webpages remain "Light" (including this Support page), a few pages appear dark.

Hi, after my firefox updated the media buttons from my keyboard only seem to work intermittently with it.

At the moment they don't work when firefox is minimized, but yesterday they didn't work when maximised either.

No problems in Chrome or local media players.

Hi. I am unable to take the full page screenshot right from firefox. Whenever i click on Save Full Page it just saves the visible section instead of full page. Please tell me how to fix this as i want to take full page screenshot instead of taking multiple visible screenshots.

Hello, I have my Apple settings set to dark mode at night time. I noticed even with Firefox having system selected for website appearance, it still does light mode at night. I attached a screenshot showing the discrepancy. Can you please get this fixed!

It's completely hopeless to get out at the Internet with Firefox, but no problems with my Macs own Safari. I have tried to add Firefox to the firewall as said in the Help-section, but i dosn't work. I am not good at computers. I have three Macs: One Mini with Tahoe 26.5.1; an old MacBook Pro with Catalina 10.15.7 and a MacBook Pro with Sonoma 8.14.3. I use a router connected via fiber.

I think Firefox is probably the best browser on the internet. But one major flaw that has always been with it but has never been fixed is that unlike other browsers, Firefox updates on startup. It may only take a few moments, but it's not very pleasant for the user to wait even a few moments for the browser to launch. It seems better to either update in a separate process like other browsers, or at least give the user the option to decide to update at startup or in the background like other browsers.

I am experiencing an issue where YouTube videos are very slow, buffering frequently, or playing in low quality when using Firefox on my computer. This problem happens even when my internet connection seems fine for other websites.

I have tried refreshing the page and restarting the browser, but the issue still continues. I would like help to understand what might be causing this and how I can fix it.

I have my Firefox update settings on "Check for updates but choose when to install". When I get the pop-up to advise that there is an update available I select the "Update later" option but the update loads regardless of my choice. This happens on both my PC and laptop. I use a variety of online software for my work and frequently one or more will stop working or crash and Firefox advises that the problem is caused by an update needing to restart. The reason I choose to Update Later is so that I can just get on with my work and then update Firefox when it suits me. Currently, I end up having to shut down all open browser windows and then go through and sign in to all required windows and tabs again before I can continue with work. Needless to say this is VERY ANNOYING. Please advise why the updates are loading automatically when I have set my preference set to Update Later.

Youtube videos will open but the red line that dances across the top of the page stops at some point and the video will not open. This is happening to all videos, I am relying on Safari to conduct all my business. This annoying since I have never touched settings nor tweeked any buttons, this seems to be a choice of Firefox.

I can not get web sites to load on my computer in windows 10 on fire fox. Whats wrong? Its been this way for a while now. I just get an error message. Why. Little thing just toggels back and forth no loading. Why?
