None of the topics seemed to match my issue so I selected "Browse".

In FF 153.0.1 on W11 64-bit, after Firefox updated to the latest version my Alt+D does not work. Ctrl+L still works. In Incongnito, Alt+D DOES work. However, in regular browsing it does not work, even after I have disabled all of my extensions. I don't know why it's not working or what I could do from my end to try to get it working.

I used firefox troubleshoot mode to see if the problem is caused by an extension etc. But my tabs were still crashing, this time, firefox as a whole crashed. Sometimes a tab crashes, and sometimes firefox crashes. I tried to troubleshoot with an llm, it said that i don´t have enough RAM, i have 8Gb, but its shared between RAM and VRAM. I was on fedora before, the problem occurred there so i switched to mint with the thought that mint is more lightweight so it should have more RAM available for tabs. But that wasn´t the case. Sometimes i only have 1 tab open, nothing else on firefox and on my laptop open at that time, but the tab still crashes.

I hope i´ve provided enough information, if not, let me know what your missing to fix and i hope i can provide it :)

I use Firefox to watch several of my live news programs on their web sites. Recently I am finding that the volume control does not allow access to actual control (it is on or off choices) without going to full screen. And tried a couple on edge. What is going on? Is this a choice of the providers to not allow control? A recent change in YOUR end? On my Ubuntu computer, I find that the New Tab extension does not update like in my Windows computer.

Does the extension update at the same time as on Windows? Is there a way to make Firefox update the extension since going to Extensions does not appear to do that for this extension like those I have installed myself?

I have a problem with contrast-free Firefox. I cannot see what tab is active what is passive. I tried to get better contrast by changing the theme with those available for Firefox. I have tried at least a dozen of them, but all get the sane destiny. It might take a couple of days or a couple of weeks, it comes. I mean after a short period my applied theme disappears and I get the same standard theme.

I have used Firefox for many years and hope to continue. What virus software do you recommend?? I paid for Malwarebytes and this was completely unsuccessful I can no longer email a small group of friends and I get popups on sites that I have used for years! What virus software do you recommend to use with Firefox and cleanup problems remaining after software’s have been removed???

Just a thought to add to the Mozilla platforms…

Taking the GitHub open source code doe DirectFile, updating it, improving it would be a massive public service… it was taken offline to benefit corporate entity tax preparers.

Good morning, I had a working VPN installation Fedora 44 XFCE Flatpak org.mozilla.vpn. But this morning when opening Mozilla VPN it " hangs" at: waiting for sign in and subscription confirmation

How to fix?

I've safely saved many, many passwords in Firefox for a long time. Then one fine day a month or so ago, I found out that ALL of my passwords had been wiped out! Ever since then, I started saving my passwords in a .csv file and then uploaded the file to the Passwords page. The passwords keep getting wiped out anyway. I can't find a way to stop this from happening.

Within the last week of time, all of a sudden, my ability to access Grok.com seems to be failing. Most of the time it seems to get stuck on "Transferring Data: CDN.GROK.COM". Grok attempted to assist in this matter, we have set a new blank profile for Mozilla, we have tried setting network.http.http3.enabled to false, we have tried relaxing the tracking protection for the website, but nothing seems to be helping. Grok feels that this may be due to a update done around the 18th of August.

There is a brief, black flash that occurs after I enter grok.com in the search bar (using Google search for the engine), and then it gets stuck at the above point. I am in a very intense project with Grok, and I absolutely hate Chrome browser, but Grok works fine in Chrome browser, and my mobile. I am running this on a Razer 14", with AMD Ryzen 9, Windows 11 (full legal version), and Microsoft products. Plenty of HD space, and once again, it DOES work with Chrome.

my primary email has been deleted and is as such inaccessible, I'm still logged in on multiple devices but I can't add a secondary recovery email because it's requiring a two factor authentication code. Is there any way I can change my primary email or is my only option to make a whole new account?
