I'm experiencing an issue with Thunderbird when trying to open attached PDF files. As soon as I double-click a PDF attachment, Thunderbird immediately shuts down completely. When I reopen Thunderbird and try again, the same thing happens.

I have already restarted my computer, but the issue persists. The only way I was able to open the PDF files was by accessing the email directly through Outlook.

Functionality and usability issue: I use the Thunderbird for Android app as an adjunct to my desktop installation. Recently I had occasion to reply to an email in Android to one "to" recipient and needed to add two "cc" recipients, but found no way to add the cc recipients without deleting the existing cc recipients and having to input the entire (dynamic) group again, but then was also stymied by that. How best to handle this issue?

Other than that issue, the lack of desktop contacts synching, and the lack of spam filtering, Thunderbird for Android has been a huge help, so thanks to the developers for their dedication and hard work.

Hello For the past few days, every time I launch Thunderbird, I’m asked to re-enter my account password. I do this every time after deleting the saved passwords in the settings, ticking the ‘Use the password manager...’ box, and restarting Thunderbird. But nothing seems to work. Do you have a solution? I don't know if it's because I don't have the latest version of Firefox. But I cannot find tab grouping. I have checked to see if there is an update, but I can't find any update at all so just wondering what's going on. the version of Firefox I'm using is: 153.0 (Build #2016172927)

I have selected 'Dark/Auto' in my customization settings. I assumed this setting was meant strictly for the Firefox app UI theme, not to automatically force dark mode onto web pages. However, the issue now is that websites are being forcibly rendered in dark mode. I actually appreciate forced dark mode because it renders images and colored text cleanly without messing them up. The real problem is that I can't seem to find any option to turn it off. When I try enabling dark mode using a website's own native toggle, it displays inverted/negative colors, whereas light mode works properly. So my question and issue come down to this: how do I disable the feature that automatically forces dark mode on the websites I browse? (I haven't been able to find this setting anywhere.)

Firefox appears to be very limited compared to my past experience. Bookmark icons can’t be moved, bookmarks can’t be displayed as text, etc. I’ve looked everywhere to customize as desired, but can’t seem to get it like i want it.

I am using Thunderbird Meadow.

Is it possible to send emails without a subject, other than getting the warning dialogue box.

It would be very useful.

Firstly I have lost my default,. I had it set up as google . next I lost all my bookmarks, I have also lost the bar I had which included bookmarks history etc. this all happened in the middle of using a program and now I cannot get it back. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS HAPPENING

For a few weeks now, sent emails have not been appearing in the "Sent" folder. The recipient receives the email, but I have no confirmation in "Sent" that it was actually sent. It was never a problem.

Our email comes through SaskTel. They are making changes and suggest that we contact any other platforms we use to confirm they support DMARC-compliant email sending and to see if any updates are needed. Please provide this information to me. Thank You.

I have installed Firefox VPN, but it is disabled by default so I have to enable it whenever I use it . How can I change the default setting to make it on by default

I need help. How do I troubleshoot TBird asking for a password that disappears when I go into troubleshooting mode? In other words, I can enter anything in for the password, or dismiss/close the pop up box, and nothing is effected by it. I still get all me email for all accounts. The only thing at the top of the box is a user name (pmruzicka). At this point, I have deleted the accounts that used that user name, including all info for the outgoing servers (even tho this password request pops up at TBird start). I have Disabled ALL extensions one at a time and the pop up still happens. I have set TBird to default them,e - pop up still there. I have unchecked the hardware acceleration box - pop up still there. I have no clue what else I could do at this point. I do NOT have a Primary password set. Can someone please help me figure this out? Getting tired of having to click off that pw box every time I start TBird. Thanks. Also, this has been happening through the last few updates of TBird.

I have Firefox 15.3.0.1 on two computers. One one, when I go to about:config, there is a search bar with an option to "Show only modified preferences." On the other computer this search bar is missing. How can I make it display on the second computer?

I can't get into my gmail My gmail icon disappeared from my icons screen a few days ago. I had to get into my email by going into Firefox. Now that isn't working either. I decided to make Firefox my browser, so I did that. Now what do I do? I still can't get into my gmail!!!!!!! Please help!!!!!! NOW

I live in Europe, where this stupid age verification law is in effect. I get around this by using a VPN. The problem is that I have two Firefox profiles set up with the same VPN and the same country. The issue occurs on X (formerly Twitter). On one profile, the VPN works as it should and I no longer need to verify my age, but on the other profile, the VPN has no effect and X (Twitter) asks me to verify my age. Yet the VPN is definitely enabled. I’ve cleared the cache and cookies, but nothing helps. It’s driving me crazy. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Today, I have received an email, claiming to be from Mozilla support.

The text is garbled but it appears to contain words, 'hacking', 'paynalti', and 'auto-block'. These are words which immediately put me on security alert. I haven't opened the mail but have viewed it in preview pane. and screen grabbed the attached pdf image.

Any comments?
