I hit the "Clear Private Session" icon, confirm, but then I have to go to:

Open Settings >

Privacy and Security >

Browsing Data >

Clear Browsing Data >

"Everything" (every check box has to be checked) >

Clear.

I have Firefox in permanent Private Browsing only, and Privacy and Security Settings are set to Strict / Do Not Fix any site problems.

Why does Firefox retain browsing site data even after I exit out of Fiirefox completely unles I do all of the above?

I have the latest version of Mozilla Firefox 155.0.Every time i update to latest version my Norton 360 for Gamers antivirus Safe Web application blocks the update process and i report it as False Positive and Mozilla Firefox updates ok. I have attached and image of Norton's Safe Web application analysis. Also,have submitted this issue to Norton using their Report False Positive form and have not had a reply yet. Thank you

i have tried anew profile got a the newest version and it still does not help i guess the people doing the updates have no idea how to fix the issue or care none of you can really help all the idea you have had i have tried and still i get the same Firerfox running but not responding' guess you will force me to go to chrome instead which does not do this nor does Edge so you can not tell me it is not a firebox issue because neither Chrome or hedge with by the way all the same desktop icons i have had for years work

Changed my Email address and when I opened Thunderbird, my folders (35+) containing hundreds of Email disappeared. Need to find where they are hiding and reinstall. Thunderbird with new Email address is working correctly, except for the lost data.

TB will import but does not display either legible emails nor attachments. I suspect GM at is fault. The takeouts seem incomplete at Zip 11GB. There are 2407 emails in my simple GM account a few with always Adobe PDF legal document attachments. I am new to Thunderbird so that may be a contributor but it looks very straight forward. Using the VPN, there is an option to select a country. However, this doesn't work. I have tried various countries and with every country I select, I am placed in Chicago. Is there a way to make the location selection more accurate?

I have 8 email accounts. Four of them use my service provider; "@Bell.net", and four of them are gmail accounts. When I open my Thunderbird app two things happen. A Google web page opens asking "Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants access to your Google Account". with a reference to one of my gmail addresses. This web page opens when I shut down Thunderbird as well. Secondly, Thunderbird asks me for the passwords for each of my four Bell accounts. I have tried everything suggested, deleting passwords, deleting profile files, you name it. I've been at this on 4 separate occasions, with this last one lasting 2+ hours. I'm at a complete loss. When I suggest deleting Thunderbird and reloading it, I'm told that may not fix the problem because it would still reference potentially corrupted files. Please help!

I want to sync calendars across Thunderbird and iPhone. (Linux Mint 22 Wilma, Thunderbird 140.14.1 esr)

I am trying to use the Apple calendar server to sync with. Using the Create New Calendar dialog box in Thunderbird, then applying the Apple-assigned password, Thunderbird returns "Could not find calendars at this location. Please check your settings."

I would appreciate help with this.

I changed my password on my email account and TBird thought it was still connecting, but not finding anything. Following some advice, I deleted the password in TBird. Now I can't figure out how to enter the new one.

Facebook pages will not load. I need specific detailed instructions how to do this. Dyslexia makes it difficult to process written directions. I want to disable adblockers and other extensions to allow Facebook to load pages.

When I first start up Firefox this populates the address box http://search.anysearchmanager.com/?hsypt=iima&pub_id=3000&affid=A0X7K_set_bfr_H. this is also accompanied with a warning that this is a possibly compromised site. If it is a bad site why does it show up when I open Firefox? HOw do I make it go away?

Since your last update, I can't access amazon anymore without a security warning. I know that my connection is private and secure. The only thing that's actually happening, is that my Browser is interfering with me without cause. Can you please make that stop ?
