when i print emails the email content & subject/to-from/date header info is fine. But TBird also prints the subject at the top of page in smaller print and wrong font.

I like the easy to find subject, but how can i change the font & size to something i, not the software, prefer? do i need to do this in FFox?

Using win10 home, TBird 115.12.2 (64-bit). [not using latest version, because terrified i'll have to spend another 4-6 hours configuring like i had to for 115*]

I am trying to apply this filter but unsucssesfylly. I am looking for a exact number that appears in the message, to move the e-mail to a specific folder. I've already checked usind CTRL+F and it appears. Any suggestion? Here are some pictures.

Is there a quick way to close all windows at once, without quitting FF?

I would prefer an extension-less solution; also I would like to keep the setting that retains the previous session upon reopening FF.

When expanding the comments in an arstechica.com article with Firefox settings/accessibility/automatic font sizing switched on, frequently the font used is very large. A page refresh usually fixes the problem and the font return to the expected size.

I have also seen the same problem at www.theguardian.com.

I do not see this problem if automatic font sizing switched off.

I've attached 2 screenshots. In the example with the larger font, I had scrolled to the bottom of the article and clicked on the comments button to open the comments, then took the screenshot. Then I refreshed the page and took another screenshot.

Is this a known problem?

Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.19045, 64 bit Mozilla installed

This morning I opened Mozilla 4 different times. Three times it installed an update then opened. The fourth time I got the dreaded box "Couldn't open XPCOM."

Two days ago I got the same box and just downloaded Mozilla again, it worked and I went on thinking it was a fluke.

I've read the other questions and answers pertaining to this. It didn't look like anyone else has had this problem recently. Is there anyway I can keep this from happening when I download it again?

While setting up the account on Windows 11 and trying to connect with Gmail for credentials, the pop up window is hanging blank without connecting or populating any data. Any help?

I have an older computer and email (giacomo00@hotmail.com) works OK on it. I also have a newer computer and its email stops at 9 Sept. How do I get newer emails on my newer computer?

When I clear data of a site I expect it to only clear data of that site, but it clears all data of all sites under the top domain, which is unwanted behavior for me.

Is there any way how to clear data only from that specific subdomain without effecting the other subdomains?

I created a ticket for an app that it wouldn't keep my settings but it was not the app's fault. It was Firefox clearing data of that app when I cleared data of a totally unrelated app (but under the same top domain) which caused a lot of frustration to the team behind the app.

Thunderbird issue:

System: Two computers running Linux Mint 21.3 - Google Chrome is the default browser.

Both running Thunderbird 115

Both have the same two accounts set up  : Pop3 – gmail.com

Both accounts were announcing ‘You Have Mail” using custom WAV file.

Both accounts are set for manual downloads.

I stay up to date on all updates for system as well as TB

Issue:

All worked A-O.K. until a month ago when one (primary account on one computer stopped announcing “You Have Mail”. The other account (secondary) as well as both accounts on the other computer still function normally, i.e. the wav file is functional.

I have tried everything that I can think of to address the issue but have been coming up empty handed.

I haven’t messed with the css files but have change paths to the file, used a different wav file. Tried oga, mp3, etc. all with no fix. I’ve changed themes and checked other add-ons. Still no fix.

I could live without it but I’m one that likes to have everything working!

Is it in my profile or what?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Running version 8.0, Thunderbird App for Android. Noticing all subfolders are labelled "INBOX.trash, INBOX.Sent Items, INBOX.General".

Wondering if there's a way to remove.the "INBOX" part?

some accounts, Big Fish Games and Facebook for eg., don't respond to a sign in click. I've tried the same accounts in another browser and they work fine.

I've looked at other people having the same problem. When I delete an email, the one next to it gets deleted also. This has been going on for some time now. I've lost an important email to this problem. Somehow it needs to just target one email, not any others.I'm using a mouse with a cord at my desktop. The menu at the left expands sometimes, when I don't mean it to do that.

I'm using a pixel 8. Firefox is my default browser. I noticed safe search was suddenly locked on my phone. I went to search to try and trouble shoorlt and Firefox was gone from my phone! I reinstalled it. The next day it was uninstalled again. My phone was also really glitchy and a few apps stopped working. I wouldn't uninstall Firefox as it's my go-to browser. My bookmarks came back but lost all my dlsabed passwords. Anyone have Firefox randomly uninstall itself?

I am not able to get emails on my desktop computer or Laptop. My email address isnt recognised. I can get emails on my phone but these disappear so sometimes I can't access them again.

thunderbird has worked just fine for a long time, but recently it will freeze, then if i keep clicking it will show not responding when sending emails, but then after a short time will go back to working. been thinking of reinstalling the program???? thanks
