need to replace bookmarks on server not merge them, w/bookmarks on locale device

currently when i log in it merges what is on server w/ what i just reworked and getting rid of multiples ... will have to do this again as i clean even more so need ot know how to accomplish exchange not merger

I reinstalled Firefox on my laptop after it crashed. I also have Firefox on my iPhone. The profile there is up to date. How do I sync that profile to the laptop installation?

Syncing tabs, passwords are very useful, but it is quite disappointing that there are no available option (during synchronization) to select Collections as well... Or am I missing some obvious way to do that ?

Trying to sync tabs with my desktop machine. Following the screen instructions, I am signed into my Firefox account on both the phone and desktop, a QR code is displayed on the desktop machine, but there is no "Ready to Scan" button on the phone. What now?

How do I sync bookmarks? The Firefox "Help" says: - "Tap the menu button Tap Sync and save your data."

I can tap the menu button (Three dots at top right of the screen). A menu appears, but there is no "Sync and save your data".

Why am I being alerted when I sign in to Firefox to finish setting up my account? I think that I have had an account and already sync my devices for the last decade, but less than a century. When I follow the sync instructions i get put on a loop of needed to "pair from within the Firefox app," on my phone - which I was using when instructed to "open Firefox" very confusing as to what I am doing wrong.

I want to sign into Firefox on my Android phone. I have Firefox on my iPhone and I’m trying to get a qr code on my iPhone to scan with my Android phone so I can sync from my iPhone to my Android phone. How do I do that?

I'm just wondering when developers will get their heads out of their butts, and provide a "one-way sync" for firefox. I'm so fricking annoyed at the sync changing around my setups with bookmarks, passwords, etc when I sync between my primary computer and others that I don't use as often. Is this concept just to difficult too comprehend?

We have a question about bookmarks sync, with specific characteristics, please.

We purchased another computer, a laptop, and wish to benefit from the bookmarks sync between them. However, we're affraid of a backward syncing situation. How can we make sure we prevent that?

For example, say we worked on the desktop for a week, and then need to use the laptop. What should we do when we turn the laptop on and open ff browser, if we wish to sync from the desktop to the laptop? Do we press the Sync button on the laptop? - or will that force a backward synching from the laptop to the desktop? If that's the case, than how do we sync reliabely? And let's say the day after, from the now-updated-laptop to the desktop? Is the safest way to do it by turning the sync option off, and copying the bookmarkbackup folder from one updated computer to the other?

Also, this may complicate things a bit - We use the browser bookmarks in a non traditional way. It's kind of an archive for us. The .jsonlz4 file size in bookmarkbackups folder is 37MB. We remember reading somewhere before, the server backups stores files up to 10MB. So, question is, does the large size or the bookmarks file will affect the synching process between computers?

Hello everyone! Windows 10, Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit) I'm trying to synchronize my account, but there is no "Sign in to account" or "synchronization" function in the settings menu on the left. When I log in via the command line using https://accounts.firefox.com/signin, I can log in, but neither the account itself nor the synchronization button appears in the settings. What should I do? Good morning, the "Payment Methods" section has disappeared. In its place, I see a link called "Manage passkey in system settings," which takes me to the Windows 11 Passkey section, which I've NEVER enabled!

If I create a new profile, the "Payment Methods" section appears as normal, but when I link it to my Microsoft account for profile sync, the "Payment Methods" section disappears and "Manage passkey in system settings" reappears.

How can I fix this? Thanks
