Hello, I'm a long time Mozilla user but I'm new to Thunderbird. I am setting up a new PC build with Windows 11 Home.

I've set up my Thunderbird with the incoming server imap.bellaliant.net port 143 outgoing server smtpa.bellaliant.net port 2225

The above servers were supplied buy my internet service supplier, although the support team originally gave me different servers. My ISP has stated security for both servers to be set no/none I can SEND emails but not receive incoming email. AS a note I can send and receive emails from my ISP's website using this email account. Do you have any suggestions. I realize this is a busy time of year, thank you. Kind Regards WS

Just purchased and set up Thunderbird on new Samsung Galaxy S25 phone. Message inbox works but Sent, trash, and no other message box displays. How to correct and set up. Also how do you sync android Thunderbird phone app. w computer Thunderbird program. When I delete an inbox message on phone it is not deleted on computer Thunderbird program and vice versa . Computer is new build running Windows 11. Thanks for assistance. Techs at Verizon were unable to help.

Had a helpful suggestion from Matt but he reckons everyone who has this problem sends messages by using CTRL + enter. I always use the 'send' button. Any other ideas?

For many years, I have used Thunderbird and have made a signature in HTML, with clear pathways to loctions where images are stored. Never had a problem. Here is my successful code:

So, I noticed that the default font Firefox uses on Android when nothing is specified is a sans-serif font. But I would like to use serif.

I've already seen an answer to change the values of "font.name.sans-serif.x-unicode" and "font.name.sans-serif.x-western" in about:config (also "font.name.sans-serif.x-user-def", but that must have been removed, nothing shows up when I search it), but I haven't gotten it to work. I assume I'm not inputting the right value. What should I set as the value to get it to use a serif font? Or is there another way I should do this?

Is there a button I push or a feature I enable to make sure that I'm opted-out of any future updates that include AI 'features'? Or should I switch to Vivaldi now and save time?

I would like to make a donation that renews automatically each year. I understand that you offer the option of making monthly donations. However, that is not what I am looking for, and I would never use that option. By contrast, if I could make a donation that renews automatically on the same date every year, I would choose that option. I am not suggesting that the amount would be substantial, but it would be comparable to what I would be willing to pay for an annual subscription.

(If I have not submitted this suggestion through the appropriate channel, could you please let me know how it might be brought to the attention of the individuals responsible for making such decisions?)

For some reason after I restarted my laptop (firefox was opened) Mozilla was reset. I was logout from my acc and also firefox isn't my default browser (I didnt anything with it). Btw if I tried to open any link system will open it via firefox. But firefox still said that its not default browser in system. And if I open default apps in Windows I have 2 firefox there (and both recommend me to set is as default). Except FF I have only edge that also said that I can set is as default. After I login in my acc in firefox I haven't anything. No history, no passwords, extensions etc. What I can do here? I tried to use sync but as result I still have nothing.

Suddenly TB stopped checking mail on time intervals set in the server settings. It does check mail at startup and when manually triggered. MacOs 15.7.3 MacBook pro M1

Ever since thunderbird did its major upgrade to include encryption some years ago, when it resulted in my address book being lost, I've foung thunderbird harder to use, Emails get downloaded 2 znd 3 times over so I once had 40,000 emails in my in box the vast majority duplicates. After deleting most of themI was dismayed to have the double and triple downloading continue.

I now [use] the email on my android phone far more than Thunderbird because of this, sometimes when drafting emails the message screen goes god knows where when I go to find add address from my address book, There is yet a straight forward to rasily increase and decrease the font size in received emails. As my eyesight fails thay's an important omission to have to work around, Firefox has an app that adds buttons to increase and decrease font size, simple. Never understood why Thunderbird didn't have somwthing similar, Much more convenient than have to stop and search for my glasses,

I think a back to basics approach to Thunderbird rather then adding bells and whistles that may ne nice buy seldom used, I just learned gmail allows you to retract emails. Yhat's a feature that I will lead me to at least explore gmail. That's mt 2 cents,

I've been using Firefox all morning. Now, for some unknown reason, every time I start it up, it immediately crashes Windows. I mean, within 1 second or so. There's no time to do anything. After the fourth crash in a row, I just restarted Windows again. It was humming along happily for 10 minutes or so, and then crashed as soon as I started Firefox. After the first crash, the first thing it did was update, but that didn't fix anything. I'd love to share data with you but I'm forced to use Edge right now.

My 'sent mail' has suddenly all disappeared - although still on the mail file server. Inbox mail is fine - but if I send a test message to myself, I get the reply, but the sent message is not saveb. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird twice, n - the second time deleting the Mozilla folder under C:\users and then rebooting This happened whilst I was using Thunderbird. I have used Thunderbird for years without problems I have run a virus scan with Malwarebytes, but no problmes showed up. All folders are still vixible on my iPhone

I am about to try reinstalling again. I don't want to have to change email clients.

Hi, my Thunderbird calendar reminders are coming up 4 hours after the meeting.

Running Kubuntu. System locale/timezone OK, TBird set to use system time (though manually making it the same didn't help). HW Clock matches system time. Pacific/Auckland.

Tried exporting all my appointments and re-importing them - no change.
