I am aware that Windows 10 will continue seeing support for the foreseeable future, but what about older versions and builds of 10?

I ask because I'm currently on a machine that physically can't update beyond version 1909 build 18363.1198 due to an issue that occurred on my machine in November 2020. So I've been stuck at that version and build of 10 for basically the last five years. While I'm trying to see if I can update it to 22h2, the last known version of Windows 10 with the hopes of enrolling in the extended security updates, that may not be feasible due to how old the mahcine itself is. Will Firefox continue to support all versions of 10 for the foreseeable future and not just those on the ESU? If so, great. If not, what version will be the last that can support the version I'm on? I don't have a Windows 11 machine yet on a full time basis (I'm testing an 11 machine out, but I may not end up keeping it) and I prefer 10 to begin with, so I would like to know when I need to stop updating Firefox itself, so that I can be sure I'll be able to keep using the browser with my current OS.

So I just updated to Firefox version 142.0, and noticed there is a picture in picture option in the URL bar now. Don't get me wrong. I get the idea, but it's not for me. Is there an option to turn this off within the Firefox settings? I'm currently still on Windows 10— which I'm grateful Firefox is still supporting at the moment— version 1909 and the picture in picture controls setting is currently unchecked but still shows up in the URL bar for some reason. Can anyone help with this?

My account has not been updated since 2023?? Is there something you can do about this? Also there were links I clicked, the questions, and those haven't been updated.

i have a big problem with settings of privacy and security. the problem is i cant edit this option ( Allow Firefox to automatically trust third-party root certificates you install ) and its greyed out . i made everything ( refresh - troubleshoot - uninstall ) and with the first click on singing my account on Firefox and add my restore my add-ons after setting up windows this option become unavailable (greyed out) and cant edit it. i need a solution without going to set up a new windows because its so tiring to set up a new windows to edit this option. please give me a solution its emergency. thanks a lot.

I've yet to test on other sites and haven't found any solutions while looking it up, every 3d element is shown as a black box, I don't really have any other way to describe it

Have changed internet supplier. Old company has shut off services. Don't know how to get new internet installed. I added gmail address as my new account email but it is not coming up and my old email is still there but now will not connect, there is a delete button in the accounts settings but don't want to lose all of my existing stuff on the old email account

When I have multiple tabs open, around the 6th tab, the entire computer freezes. I have to press the physical button to shut down and restart. This behavior started with the last Firefox update. It doesn't happen when I use Brave browser. What changed to cause this?

I'm running Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint mint 100 - 1.0 version 141.0.3 (64 bit) on Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon. These are the latest versions of Mint and of Firefox for Mint.

I am unable to locate the setting Enable Link preview. I am using Firefox 142.0 on Windows 10 Home 22H2. This setting does not appear under Settings>General>Browsing. Are there other settings that are required to enable this facility?

Latest version of Firefox browser (142.1) recently installed on my laptop and desktop both running Windows 10. The former continues to support Flightradar 24. The latter no longer does. Message reads 'Unfortunately, your current browser does not support WebGL2 . . . most major browsers (including Firefox) do'! Is there a reason for this anomaly, please? Plus a solution? I recently added ChatGPT as a search engine option. I tried to use the voice interface to simply ask the question instead of typing it out. An error message quickly appeared that stated "To use voice mode, you'll need to enable your microphone and try again." I could not find a way to grant this permission. The only setting mentioning "permissions" was in privacy & security. When I click on "settings" I receive the following message showing websites which have asked for permission so that I could choose to grant it or not, but, what it does not provide is a way for me to grant spontaneously if I choose to. ChatGPT has not requested permission so how do I, without a request from a site, choose to grant them permission to access and use the mic on the laptop so that I can simply talk to it?

I get to the point when a window to authenticate my log in appears. But it is blank. I copy the link and select all info to let thunderbird see but then Firefox fails to sustain connection to localhost and MS Edge also fails.

I don't know why. I disable firewall and still problem.

Have 2 accounts in a TB install: gmail and outlook. Use outlook as my primary sending account. All mail received on outlook account is FORWARDED to gmail account. Have been asked several times this morning to either login to Microsoft account or enter a new password. Entered my "regular" Microsoft/Outlook password when asked and told TB to save it. Still getting authentication problems. Password I am using WILL log me into the Outlook website. Any clues?
