I recently updated my operating system, and when I booted up Firefox again, it had this finder bar that wasn't there before, and I would like to get rid of it again, and I have no idea how. Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about, the bar above tabs. http://puu.sh/6OFqM.png

Try go to about:config search for browser.tabs.onTop change its value to true

You can try to toggle full screen mode on Mac via Command+Shift+F).

You can also try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Go to "~/Library/Preferences" and remove the plist file for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist)


You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.
