how do I block those pop up menus that say things like back, reload, bookmark this page, etc.?
these are not outside pop-ups but internal to firefox to "help" with navigation. sometimes they appear when scrolling and then when I click elsewhere on the page, a new menu will appear there. So frustrating! How can I stop this from happening?

On Mac you can possibly open the right-click context menu if you press the left mouse button for a longer period.

Can you give us a screen shot?
Hi Fred,
Yes, here's a screenshot. See on the right hand side how a box has popped-up that says Back, Forward, Reload, etc.? And sometimes I will get a list of other options on the "toolbar" or "pop-up help list".
That is the right click menu. What happen was you hit the button, and the menu popped up.
OK, I can't find anything listed on the Firefox about a "right click menu", so I'm still having trouble finding a way to turn that off.
Does anyone know a way to turn of the function so that the right click menus do not pop up? I can't find this in the list of customizations.
Also, on the new MacBook Air, the right click and scroll are too similar, so I've adjusted my trackpad settings so that I'm not right clicking when I don't intend to.
Thanks!
