I have the latest edition and updates for Norton 360. Yet Firefox has it disabled.

I have the latest version of Firefox.

Why does firefox state that Norton 360 is not compatible with firefox and will not enable it.

I will have to go back to IE if I am unable to protest my system when in Firefox.

hello, according to norton the toolbar is already compatible with firefox versions up to firefox 25. please run the norton liveupdate utility repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. in addition make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension afterwards.

Unlike with most Extensions the Extensions made to work with antivirus clients generally need to be updated for each new Firefox release by the antivirus company. Norton has managed to get a update for each new Firefox release the same say or with a couple days of a release ever since Firefox 5.0.

If possible try updating Norton before updating Firefox.\

The message is saying the Norton extension version you have installed in Firefox 25.0 is not compatible. It is not saying your Norton 360 itself is disabled as it will still work on your system.
