What device were you planning to use?

I believe Straight Talk uses the T-Mobile network, so if the device does not use the 1700 band, you should check whether T-Mobile has now set up 3G on the bands supported by the device in your area. Otherwise, you'll only have EDGE/GPRS data speed, which could be an unpleasant experience...

I use Straight Talk with my ZTE Open. They offer both T-Mobile and AT&T. If your Firefox OS phone is unlocked you should be able to use either carrier. I suggest you use the carrier that has the better signal in your area. I have updated Firefox OS on my phone using Straight Talk, so that should work pretty good for you also.
