Hello,

I'm afraid I don't think that using an mp3 as a ringtone is currently possible in Firefox OS.

See below for the support article on how to change your ringtone... but you can only select from the built in tones.

Ringer, sound and vibrate settings

We already have a bug logged aiming to enable that feature. You can track progress on the bug here if you like:

Ringtone selection from file system

Hi!! is it possible to set an ogg file as a ringtone?? I have ZTE with firefox os

I converted an mp3 to ogg, then conected my zte to the pc and downloaded it to the sd card (the only option) but it does not apear on the ringtone list and there doesn't appear to be an option to use it as a ringtone

hello, the ability to set custom ringtones will come with version 1.3 of firefox os, which is currently being developed and should go out in roughly half a year, as firefox os has quarterly release cycles...
