I would like to know how web apps in Firefox os save their state when they are put in the background and when they are killed.

I think the answer you are looking for is; When a program shuts down, it will save any current information for later.

Your answer is more like a simplified version of my question. I appreciate that you are trying to help, but it's not really constructive to answer if you don't know.

To make my question more specific, I would like to know if something equivalent to "onSaveInstanceState" for Android, exists in Firefox OS.
