Setup sync on firefox desktop using device running firefox android
Hi,
I've lost the original desktop device via which I had set up sync on my android device. Now I have a new desktop and I wish to be able to set up firefox on the desktop with that on the droid.
I am using "firefox v19" on android and the only option I see against sync is that in settings->sync->Mozilla Sync .. I see no options as listed here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-a-device-to-firefox-sync
So my question is, how can I sync a device to that on a firefox mobile for v19 or higher. Please don't link to KB pages that have outdated information wrt firefox mobile since the UI is quite different in v19.

This is a bit of an experimental area.
Do you have any record of the Recovery Key for your Sync account? This would let you connect your computer to the existing account. (How do I add a device to Firefox Sync?)
Assuming you do not have access to the recovery key for your existing Sync account, check out this recent thread on sync'ing with a NEW Sync account as a way to get the bookmarks out of your Android device:How to export forefox for android bookmarks without sync (scrolldown to the post by nalexander). Unfortunately, the description is not very thorough.

I fortunately found a better way. Feature to sync another device has now moved from Firefox Settings to Android -> Accounts -> Sync . One can pair multiple devices using options in the latter menu.
wait so if I go System Settings > Accounts & sync > Firefox > Pair a Device then it will sync my old desktop bookmarks with my new desktop?
Firefox 22 does not support multiple sync account. This doesn't work now. Sad...
Oh but 'Pair a Device' is there. I didn't catch that OoO
