Yes it is. That's why it's easy to turn off when using IE. But I don't use IE. If I access my Hotmail via Firefox:: how do I turn it off? It keeps putting stuff in my junk mail folder. I decide what is and isn't junk mail in the millisecond it takes my brain to decide the matter. Junk mail systems are a solution in search of a problem.

Are you sure it is the Internet Explorer feature that is doing that. It may just be hotmail's ordinary junk filtering, in which case consult Hotmail support for an answer.

I did that already and it just directs you to the IE control. I guess that this is because Hotmail is Bill Gates as is IE. I guess I just live with it or use another web based email.
