why does firefox need sms permissions?

Firefox beta in the Android market requires permissions to send and receive SMS? A browser should nit require these permissions. So either remove them or give a pretty goof explanation why these are necessary.

Hello,

It does not have a use for SMS. This was a mistake permission added for the Beta and will be removed in our next beta release sometime this week. Follow along in http://bugzil.la/728327.
