I have tried updating from Firefox 5.0 to 6.0 before and seemed to lose my Norton Identity Safe/Password Manager facility. Has this been corrected, or was I doing something wrong previously?

Cheers.

Still a compatibility issue with Firefox 6.0 update (screen snapshots available.

The issue with Norton Desktop went away after the Norton Upgrade/Update to v.500125, but now there is an issue with NortonIPS.

See screen snaps: the Dsktop issue was before Norton Upgrade to 5.0.0.125. The Norton IPS issue was after the ugrade. Seems like Mozilla is trying to implement identity controls as a tactic to control users desktops.

Firefox has really screwed up just about everything they can. Looking for a new browser as fast as possible.

For any company to be successful on the internet they must play nicely in the sandbox with other companies. On several occasions Firefox has issued an update without Norton Secure Password available on it. I am sorry to say I will have to leave Firefox if this problem is not quickly fixed on your current version and I will leave Firefox if it occurs again. In case you are wondering I did do a live update on my Norton and nothing happened.

richarddugan, Firefox does not come with Norton stuff as that supplied by well Norton. Norton is responsible for the maintenance of their stuff and unlike in past they have actually been quite good with last number of Firefox releases (since 5.0) in having updates rather quickly compared to the some six weeks after a Firefox release.
