I have a Viewsonic G-Tab that will not access Android Market. How do I get Firefox?
Viewsonic G-Tablet doesn't work with "Android Market", there is no access. That is a choice of Viewsonic. I can load and install other apps if I can download them to my PC then transfer them to the G-Tablet. In your list of devices that work with Firefox, the G-Tablet is included, so you have installed it. So how do I get the file without going thru "Android Market"?
Additional System Details
a whole bunch (18).
- User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:18.104.22.168) Gecko/20110420 Firefox/3.6.17
You can get it via the ftp. ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/4.0.1/android-r7/multi/
Thanks for the quick reply. Already installed it on my G-Tab. Now am getting up-to-date.
I cannot download the file, but I guess that is not Firefox's problem. Everytime I try to download anything from Android Market, it tells me that there is no phone number associated with that account. Well, "Duh" it is a G Tablet with Wi-Fi only... Anybody got any ideas? I am, however downloading the file to my desktop and then sideloading to the tablet.
