Can't run 4.0 virtualized with Avast! a/v. Worked great with 3.6.5

I am running Avast! antivirus. When I try to open Firefox 4.0 in the 'run virtualized' mode I get the message: "The procedure entry point NS_SetDllDirectory could not be located in the dynamic link library xul.dll". Had no problem with 3.6.5. I am running XP Pro. Do I need to go back to the earlier version of ff? (I am still able to run Chrome in the virtualized move)
