CAn I downgrade to version 3.6 from 4.0 Beta without losing my bookmarks? Are there any problems with doing this?
I am having various problems with version 4.0 Beta and want to downgrade to the latest release version. Can I just download it and install it without losing any bookmarks? Are there any known issues with doing this? Do I have to uninstall 4.0 first?
Chosen solution
@rog.howe Yes, use Add/Remove Programs. You should also see the previous version right next to the beta one.

Just uninstall the beta, it will automatically default back to the previous version.
Thanks. Do you mean that i should uninstall using the Windows Add/Remove programs or just use the Firefox 3.6 installer without first uninstalling?

Worked like a charm! Thanks!
I no longer have the previous version in my list of programs. 4.0 is crashing too much for me. Should I just uninstall 4.0 and then look for a 3.x version to load? Will I loose anything?
I did uninstall the beta but my previous version also disappeared. Had to go to Firefox web site and reinstall the old version but now everything is working correctly and I'm happy!!!
@BayArea No, all your data will be saved as long as you don't tick the "remove all customizations and data" box during the uninstall process.
