I had a disk crash and had to install a new disk. How can I carry over my bookmarks and download history to the newly installed Firefox?

You should update (Help > Check for Updates) the Firefox 3.6 version to the latest Firefox 3.6.13 version as soon as possible to get the latest security patches.
