Fullscreen videos not aligned with screen

I am using a MAC desktop, version 10.5.8 and have all the updates for Adobe flash.

When I enter full screen mode on any website (such as YouTube), the entire screen playing moves to the bottom right of my computer screen and in the background I see a still image of the video when I entered full screen mode. I can only see the top left corner of the video playing. I have confirmed this is a Firefox problem by using Safari as a baseline - full screen mode worked perfectly on Safari. However, I enjoy using Firefox. PLEASE HELP!
