fennec not working on windows desktop

I'm trying to run fennec-4.0b1 on Windows 7 (for web app testing)

It launches with no problem but fails to establish an internet connection. Whenever a request is made I get the following error:

      1. !!! [Parent][AsyncChannel] Error: Channel error: cannot send/recv

Thanks for the report. Does the same problem exist in the current nightly builds? http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/nightly/latest-mobile-trunk/
